Prickly Pear Canine, LLC values transparency and fairness. This Refund Policy explains how refunds, cancellations, and service credits are handled.
By booking services or making payments with Prickly Pear Canine, LLC, you agree to this Refund Policy.
General Policy
Due to the specialized, time-sensitive, and laboratory-based nature of our services, all sales are final unless otherwise stated in writing.
Refunds are not guaranteed and are evaluated on a case-by-case basis, subject to the terms below.
Deposits and Appointment Fees

Deposits and appointment fees are non-refundable.

Deposits secure time, staffing, and preparation for your appointment.

Missed appointments or same-day cancellations will result in forfeiture of the deposit.
Cancellations and Rescheduling

Appointments canceled with at least 48 hours’ notice may be eligible for rescheduling or a service credit, at our discretion.

Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice may not be eligible for rescheduling or credit.

No-shows are not eligible for refunds or credits.
Cryopreservation and Laboratory Services
Once laboratory services, specimen handling, processing, freezing, or storage preparation has begun:

No refunds will be issued

This includes, but is not limited to:

Semen collection
-
Evaluation or analysis

Cryopreservation
-
Storage initiation or transfer preparation

Outcomes related to biological variability (including specimen quality or viability) are not grounds for a refund.
Please refer to your "FREEZE LEGAL AGREEMENT" for additional terms and conditions.
Storage Fees

Storage fees are non-refundable once billed.

Early termination of storage does not result in prorated refunds unless required by law or explicitly stated in a written agreement.
Refund Exceptions
Refunds may be considered only under the following circumstances:

Duplicate or erroneous charges

Services paid for but not rendered due to cancellation by Prickly Pear Canine, LLC
Any approved refund will be issued using the original payment method when possible.
Processing Time
Approved refunds are processed within 7–14 business days, depending on the payment provider.
Chargebacks
Clients are encouraged to contact Prickly Pear Canine, LLC directly before initiating a chargeback. Unauthorized or unwarranted chargebacks may result in suspension of services or termination of client relationships.
Policy Modifications
We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting and reflected by the “Last Updated” date.
